Sometimes life changes your career objectives, though. They moved to Charlotte five years ago after Charla experienced some issues with her health. While Charla takes each day as it comes, the condition itself called for a change in her employment. It was then that the decision was made to take the talents that they possessed and form their very own business. HP Productions is a family-owned business that has a big heart, ready to take on just about anything. James and Charla know from personal experience that weddings are expensive and that it can be very trying on a bride and groom that is working on a budget. In fact, they didn't start out offering videography services for weddings until a friend came to Charla expressing frustration on how much her daughter's wedding was costing, and her daughter was by nature a penny-penching bride!
While they can't offer the price they did back then--it wasn't their full-time jobs at the time--both Charla and James believe in offering a quality product at a fair price. With James working as the Chief Editor and Videographer and Charla coordinating with potential clients and putting her one-man-band days in TV to good use behind the viewfinder of a camera, HP Productions is more than a business that shares their initials. It is their reputation and a reflection on who they are as human beings.
